Larry Jonas

Larry Jonas is a producer at Sony Pictures Animation, currently working on an upcoming unannounced feature.

He is a 25-year veteran of the animation industry. Most recently, Jonas was a producer at Netflix Animation, Skydance Animation, and DreamWorks Animation, where he was a 4-time Emmy®-nominated producer at DreamWorks Animation on the Guillermo del Toro projects “Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia,” “3Below: Tales of Arcadia” and “DreamWorks Dragons: Race to the Edge.”

Larry first joined Sony Pictures Animation in 2007 as an associate production manager on the studio's monster box office smash and Golden Globe® nominee “Hotel Transylvania." While in production, He also worked in production on “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” and “Open Season 2," and has since returned to the studio in 2024.

Jonas started his career in various production roles at Gracie Films, Walt Disney Studios and Universal Pictures. He was born in Philadelphia and graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Motion Picture Production and Creative Writing. Jonas is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
