
BOB PERSICHETTI
Director
Bob Persichetti is a director at Sony Pictures Animation. Alongside fellow director Justin K. Thompson, Persichetti is currently directing the highly-anticipated conclusion to the studio's groundbreaking Spider-Verse trilogy, “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.”
Persichetti has been an integral member of the Spider-Verse creative team from the beginning, as he previously served as part of the Oscar®-winning directorial team on 2018’s “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.” For his work on that film, he was also the recipient of the Annie Award for Outstanding Achievement for Directing. Persichetti then served as an executive producer on the Oscar®-nominated sequel, “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” in 2023.
Persichetti’s additional credits include co-writing the critically-acclaimed animated feature “The Little Prince," serving as head of story for DreamWorks Animation's “Puss in Boots,” and serving as a story artist on “Monsters vs. Aliens” and “Shrek 2.” Persichetti began his career in the film industry at Walt Disney Animation Studios, working on films such as “Tarzan,” “The Emperor's New Groove” and “Treasure Planet.”
Persichetti is a graduate of the California Institute of the Arts.
