Richard Daskas

Richard Daskas is an art director at Sony Pictures Animation, who most recently worked on the hit original animated sports comedy “GOAT” from producer Stephen Curry's Unanimous Media.

Prior to joining Sony Animation, Daskas worked at DreamWorks Animation for over 21 years, serving as art director “The Croods 2,” “Turbo,” and short film “Bilby.” He was also a visual development artist on a variety of features including “Trolls," "Trolls: World Tour," “Kung Fu Panda,” “Bee Movie” and “Monsters vs. Aliens.”

His additional credits include several Cartoon Network projects alongside director Genndy Tartakovsky including “Samurai Jack,” “Clone Wars,” and “Sym-Bionic Titan.”

Daskas grew up in Henderson, Nevada, and went on to study illustration at Otis College of Art and Design. He currently resides in Chino Hills, California with his wife, their two daughters, and their cat.
