Mike Andrews is the lead editor on the groundbreaking and critically-acclaimed animated feature, "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse." For his work on the film, Andrews was recognized by the American Cinema Editors (ACE) with the award for Best Edited Animated Feature Film, as well as ASIFA-Hollywood with the Annie Award for Best Editorial - Feature. He is currently working on the highly-anticipated conclusion to the Spider-Verse trilogy, “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.”

With over 25 years of experience in the animation industry, Andrews began his career as an editor on beloved TV series like Nickelodeon's "Ren & Stimpy," Klasky Csupo's "Duckman," and HBO's "Spawn."

He went on to serve as a lead editor in a wide variety of animated feature films, including 20 years at DreamWorks Animation on titles such as "Shrek,” "Shrek 2,” "Shrek the Third,” "Megamind," "Rise of the Guardians," and "Mr. Peabody & Sherman.” More recently, he worked at Paramount Pictures as a lead editor on "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run" and "Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank.” 

Andrews also served as the lead editor for Sony Pictures Animation's "Wish Dragon," which released on Netflix in 2021. 

Andrews attended graduate school for Film and Animation at the University of California, Los Angeles.
