Eddie Sassen

Eddie Sassen is a head of story at Sony Pictures Animation.

Most recently, Sassen served as a story artist on the studio's 2023 "Spider-Man™: Across the Spider-Verse,” the sequel in the groundbreaking trilogy.

Sassen joined Sony Pictures Animation in 2019, storyboarding on films such as "Hotel Transylvania: Transformania," the fourth installment in the beloved monster movie franchise, "Vivo," the studio's first animated musical with music from Lin-Manuel Miranda, and the studio’s upcoming untitled animated “Ghostbusters” feature. Previously, they spent five years at Cartoon Network working on the "We Bare Bears" series and "We Bare Bears: The Movie."

Sassen was named one of Animation Magazine’s Rising Stars of 2023.
