Executive Vice President, Business Affairs

Kym Wulfe joined Sony Pictures Animation in 2012, and is the executive vice president of business affairs. In this role, Wulfe manages business affairs matters for Sony Pictures Animation's feature films, including the Academy Award®-winning “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” the franchise properties “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs,” “Hotel Transylvania” and “The Smurfs,” as well as the studio’s television series, home entertainment and short form productions.

Prior to joining Sony Pictures Animation, Wulfe served as division head and vice president of business and legal affairs for MTV's West Coast Digital Entertainment Group. Wulfe previously held the position of executive vice president, business development and interactive for National Lampoon where she was responsible for the launch and operation of the National Lampoon Humor Network.

Wulfe also served as head of business and legal affairs for Pop.com, the internet venture founded by Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Ron Howard and Brian Grazer. In her positions at DreamWorks and Interscope Communications, she handled live action motion picture projects such as “The Ring,” “Anchorman,” “Dreamgirls,” “Surviving Christmas,” “Roadtrip,” “Pitch Black” and “Very Bad Things.”

Wulfe began her career with the national law firms of Kaye Scholer, Fierman, Hays & Handler and Milbank Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, where she practiced as an entertainment litigator and transactional entertainment generalist.

Wulfe is a graduate of the University of Southern California Law School. She earned her B.A. in Political Theory, Philosophy, Psychology and Economics from Georgetown University.
