Dean Gordon is an art director at Sony Pictures Animation, who most recently worked on the Studio's latest feature film, the Academy Award® winner "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse."
Gordon previously served as an art director on Sony Pictures Animation's "Smurfs: The Lost Village." Gordon also served as a visual development artist on Sony Pictures Animation's two "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" movies as well as the Aardman co-production "Arthur Christmas."
Prior to joining Sony Pictures Animation in 2007, Gordon worked for 16 years at the Walt Disney Animation Studios as an art director (Fantasia/2000's "Pines of Rome" segment) and background supervisor or artist on many features including "Aladdin," "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Little Mermaid."
Gordon started his career in television as a background color stylist and background artists on series such as "A.L.F.," "BraveStarr," "She-Ra: Princess of Power" and "Ghostbusters."
Gordon graduated from the Art Center College of Design.
