Two-time Emmy ® Award winner Andy Bialk is currently serving as character designer on Sony Pictures Animation's upcoming feature comedy The Emoji Movie for Sony Pictures Animation, a surprising and comic take at the secret world inside our phones set for release in July 2017.

A 20-year veteran in the animation industry, Andy's designs can be seen in many feature films including Paramount Animation's The SpongeBob Movie, The Book Of Life, Warner Bros.' The Lego Movie, as well as DreamWorks Animation's Madagascar 2, How To Train Your Dragon, Shrek Forever After, and MegaMind.

Andy most recently wrapped Season 1 as Art Director on the new Shimmer & Shine cartoon for Nick Jr. His television career has earned him four Annie Award nominations to date; highlights include Dragons: Riders of Berk, The Ricky Gervais Cartoon, Star Wars: Clone Wars, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, Samurai Jack, The Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Laboratory.

Andy has given lectures over the years at DreamWorks, Cal Arts, Concept Design Academy in Pasadena and Loyola Marymount University where he earned a BA in Studio Arts.
